What Paper Studio Collects
Account Information
- Email address (for login and communication)
- Password (stored securely, hashed)
Content You Publish
- Markdown content you submit
- Images you upload
- Generated HTML documents
Search Engine Visibility
- Published documents may be indexed by search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) unless you disable indexing
- View counts may include bot traffic from search engine crawlers
- Paper Studio does not control how search engines cache or display your content
Usage Data
- Document view counts
- Basic analytics (page views, feature usage)
Payment Information
Handled entirely by our payment provider (Paper Studio does not store card details)
How This Data Is Used
To provide the service:
- Store and serve your published documents
- Process your markdown through AI for styling
- Manage your account and subscription
To improve the service:
- Understand which features are used
- Identify and fix issues
To communicate:
- Service updates and important notices
- Product updates (only if you opt in)
Paper Studio does not sell your data.
Third Parties
Paper Studio uses third-party services for:

Your document content is sent to an AI provider for styling. This is required for core functionality.
Paper Studio does not sell your data to third parties.
Cookies
Paper Studio uses essential cookies for:
- Keeping you logged in
- Session management
No advertising or tracking cookies.
Data Retention
Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active.
Deleted accounts: Upon deletion:
- Account information deleted within 30 days
- Published documents deleted immediately
- Backups purged within 90 days
Published documents: Remain accessible until you delete them or your account.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access your data through your dashboard
- Export your documents at any time
- Delete individual documents or your entire account
- Update your account information in settings

Security
Paper Studio protects your data with:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Secure password storage
- Restricted access to systems
No system is 100% secure. Paper Studio will notify affected users if a breach occurs.
Children
Paper Studio is not intended for users under 13.
