Paper Studio is a small studio. We keep as little about you as we can, and we do not sell any of it.
If you sponsor a fish
We keep your email address, the fish you bought, and the name, line and link you chose to show. Those three are public — that is the point of sponsoring one. Your email is not.
The payment itself is handled by Polar, who take the card details. We never see them. Polar keeps a record of the sale, which we use to know the fish is paid for.
If you play
Feeding fish and fishing need no account. A finished round stores the nickname you typed and the score. Nothing identifies you, and there is nothing to delete.
If you have an account
Signing in stores your email address and, if you signed in with Google, the name and picture Google gives us. Accounts are held by Supabase on our behalf.
Documents
Paper Studio for Obsidian is paused. Documents published while it ran stay online and stay yours. We keep them, and the view counts, until you delete them.
Cookies
One, so that signing in lasts. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.
Getting it removed
Write to jen@paperstudio.ink and we will delete your account and everything attached to it. A fish already paid for keeps swimming for the season unless you ask us to take it out.
